Save Energy With Your Mac

In today's world all you seem to hear about is 'green' this and 'green' that, where everything has to be environmentally friendly to be good. Well Mac has heard this and has implemented some settings that will make your Mac OS X green friendly.

You first have to access your energy saver section in your system preferences. So firstly get into your systems preferences boc from your finder, then click on the energy saver icon;

You will now be in the energy saver section that has two main slider bars, they are;

• Put the computer to sleep when it is inactive for
• Put the display to sleep when the computer is inactive for

You can now play around with these settings so that your Mac will turn off etc when not being used for a while, and in turn you are helping the environment by not having you Mac burn up useless power.

You can now select the options button in the power saver section and how more options for your new green Mac.
